SSISD School Board Accepts Retirement of Larry Finney

The Sulphur Springs School Board accepted the retirement of Director of Transportation Larry Finney Monday night. His last day is July 31. In almost 30 years with the district, Finney also served as a bus driver, a principal and a teacher. Finney said he looked forward to spending more time on his farms in Winnsboro and enjoying his extensive album collection. He said he’d also be working on Mrs. Finney’s honey do list.
