Williams Pic1Funeral Services for Doris Williams, age 91, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Stinson and Rev. Don Baier officiating with Rev. Kenneth Rhoades, Scott Tubb, Mark Page, Irwin Schwartz, Brad Taylor, Harvey Fails, Rev. Don Tinsley and Rick Dodd serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Carriage House Manor.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams died on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs, TX.  She was a retired Sulphur Springs ISD Cafeteria employee.     She was born on August 22, 1922, the daughter of Albert and Mary Lou Enix Glenn.  She married Bob Williams on March 17, 1945 in Hopkins County, Texas.  He preceded her in death in 1974.

Survivors included: daughters, Peggy Causey and husband, Ron of Flint, Wanda Crabtree and husband, Jerry of Sulphur Springs, Anita Stapleton and husband, Johnny of Sulphur Springs; brother, Bob Glenn of New Caney, sister-in-law, Phyllis Glenn of Sargent; grandchildren, Sherri Dike and husband Harold, Angie Jenkins and husband, Manuel, Scott Rushing and wife, Penny, Sam “T.J.” Hoekema and wife, Jessica and Wendi Armstrong and husband, Wes; great-grandchildren, Tisa Sudduth, Amber Cavasoz, Jesse Dike, Jacob Mazoch, Kaylie Dike, Josh Jenkins, Colten Armstrong, Emily Armstrong, Marie Guerra and Jasmine Guerra and six great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Faye Glenn; five brothers, Earnest, Elbert, Delbert, Travis and Billy Joe Glenn.

Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church Youth Group.
