SSISD Budget Amendments

sshs.header.roundDuring this fiscal year, the Sulphur Springs School Board has approved several budget amendments totaling more than $1-million. About half of the total was for 800 I Pad’s for students approved in April. One was to pay costs of water remediation under the new Middle School. Some of this may come back to the district due to litigation. The district also approved a stipend for a surprise check for teachers in November as a thank you. Business Manager Sherry McGraw says the end result may be expenditures over the budget but not $1-million. Some budgeted funds end up not being spent.
