Salutatorian Alex Burney

Perhaps the Sulphur Springs High School 2014 Graduation will always be remembered as the one where Salutatorian Alex Burney took a selfie with the Prim Stadium audience in the background. It reinforced what he had just said, quoting a Latin proverb, which translates to, The Future Favors The Bold. The selfie wrapped up a welcome speech full of thanks to teachers, coaches, friends and family. Burney also noted the grads were fortunate to grow up in such a caring and loving environment.
