JP1 Update 06/06/14

Justice of the Peace Yvonne King set bonds for a 32-year Memphis, Tennessee man who was arrested Wednesday morning along I-30 in Sulphur Springs after 2.5 pounds of cocaine and 193 pounds of marijuana were found in the SUV he was driving. Judge King set bonds for Cornelius McFadgon Junior at $200,000 for possession of the cocaine and $100,000 for possession of the marijuana. Lt. Jason Ricketson with the Sulphur Springs Police Department seized the illegal drugs and arrested the Tennessee man Wednesday morning. Lt. Ricketson said he could smell marijuana as he approached the SUV. The officer believes the drugs were picked up in Dallas or Houston.
