Hopkins County Dairy Festival

The 55th annual Hopkins County Dairy Festival gets underway this week. A Queen’s Dinner takes place Monday at 6:30 p.m. at The Lodge. Reigning queen Kennedy Potts will welcome six contestants. Hot air balloon activity is scheduled Friday night with a rally and glow at Shannon Oaks Church grounds. Saturday events include the Parade, Junior Dairy Show, Milking Contest, Ice Cream Freeze Off and another balloon rally and glow.
