Doris Rea obitFuneral services for Doris Osborn Rea, age 83, of Denton, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Moore and Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with D. J. Cherry, Duane Cherry, Jason Gilbreath, Luke Jansen, Darren Gibson, Harlen Hammond, Lee Hammond and Steve Harlan serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home.

Doris passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2014 at Golden Meadows assisted living in Denton. Doris was born on August 18, 1930 in Como, TX, the daughter of Wayman and Johnie Lee Wofford. She married Duane Osborn who preceded her in death and later married Charles Rea who also preceded her in death. Doris was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was very active in the Community Bible Club. She is survived by daughters, Donna Gammill and husband Ted of Sulphur Springs, Denise Bell of Plano and Debbie Cantrell of Denton, sister, Juanita Hammond and husband Huel of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Jana Gilbreath, Jason Gilbreath, Jodi Gibson, Misty Blount, Bryan Gammill, Duane Cherry, D. J. Cherry, Dana Szul, Stevie Lindsey, Lori Jansen and Emma Cantrell, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, DeeAnn Cherry and grandson, Dylan Dobson.
