Third Grand Opening For Bob Evans Foods

BEFThe third grand opening for Bob Evans Foods hosted a number of BEF executives and local business leaders at a Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting Tuesday morning, July 9th, at 10:30 at the BEF location. BEF has invested an additions $23 million dollars locally. Mike Townsley is President of Bob Evans Foods. Townsley complemented Hopkins County and Sulphur Springs area residents for their work ethic. He said this is one reason they closed two plants in another state to make the Sulphur Springs plant the largest in their Bob Evans family. Local EDC Executive Director Roger Feagley states that having Bob Evans Food invest in their local facility was a draw to other industry to choose Sulphur Springs as their home. Feagley said the local workforce and community understand the food industry as well as the metal industry—which are both seeing current growth.
