On February 27, 2019, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a domestic disturbance involving a weapon. Officers responded to a residence located at 1001 High meadow Drive, in Franklin County, and made contact with a 43 year old white female who was later arrested in connection with this incident. The victim in this case, a 59 year old
white male, was located at a neighboring residence. FCSO investigators discovered that, in the days between February 14th and February 27th, the victim had been bound and confined in the residence, given only limited food and water, and had been physically assaulted multiple times. According to information received at the scene, the suspect in this case used a pistol to control and terrorize the victim, discharging the firearm multiple times, inside of the residence, during this two-week time frame. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Hospital, where he received treatment for multiple injuries sustained during this incident. The suspect was arrested and is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail on charges of Aggravated Kidnapping. The investigation is on-going.
Franklin County Sheriff Ricky Jones is requesting the assistance of the public in this case. FCSO Investigators have learned that representatives of a church group, possible Jehovah’s Witnesses, may have visited this residence during the time that the victim was being held captive. Sheriff Jones is requesting that anyone who might have visited the residence at 1001 High Meadow Drive between February 14, 2019 and February 27, 2019, please contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 903-537-4539.
