Both the Wildcats and Lady Cats’ soccer teams continue play in tournaments Friday. (January 19)
The Wildcats will be playing Dallas Lincoln at 4 p.m. Friday in the Ice Bowl tournament in Richardson. The Wildcats opened play in the tournament Thursday with a 2-0 loss to Class 6A South Garland. The Wildcats enter play Fridaywith a 3-6 season record. The Wildcats will also play Dallas Carter on Saturday at 10:10 a.m.
The Lady Cats’ soccer team has two games Friday and at least two games Saturday in the North Forney Falcon Showcase. The Lady Cats are taking on Rockwall-Heath at North Forney High School. That game begin at 12:45 p.m.Friday. They also face Crandall at 5:45 p.m. at Forney High School. The Lady Cats also play Garland Lakeview Centennial Saturday at 8 a.m. at North Forney High School. They are also scheduled to face Mabank Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Forney High School. The Lady Cats opened play in the tournament Thursday with an 8-0 victory over Seagoville. The Lady Cats enter play Friday with a 6-1-2 record.
