Monday the Hopkins County Commissioners Court will consider an agreement with Luminant Power. County Judge Robert Newsom says last week Luminant said they would begin mining in Hopkins County near their old coal mine in early 2015. While the company will be adding employees here, they are expected to reduce workers in Titus County.
