August 14, 2026 – SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX — As summer winds down, Sulphur Springs Elementary School is gearing up to kick off the 2026–2027 school year by inviting students and families to its annual “Meet the Teacher” events.
The two-day event gives students a chance to explore their campus, tour classrooms, and get acquainted with their teachers ahead of the new academic year.
Event Schedule
To ensure every family gets dedicated time on campus, Sulphur Springs Elementary has organized the schedule by grade level across two evenings:
Monday, August 17, 2026
- Kindergarten: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 1st Grade: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 2nd Grade: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday, August 18, 2026
- 3rd Grade: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 4th Grade: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 5th Grade: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Getting Ready for the New Year
District officials and faculty express enthusiasm for welcoming Wildcats back to campus. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend during their designated grade-level times to drop off classroom supplies, ask questions, and help ease student transitions into the upcoming year.
