When the juvenile passenger of a 2017 Dodge Ram struck a bicyclist with his hand as the vehicle passed near the corner of Gilmer Street and Whitworth Street, a DPS trooper who viewed the incident made a traffic stop. Driver Arrested for DWI in Accident on SH 11E

A two vehicle accident on State Highway 11E led to the DWI arrest of one of the drivers. Hopkins County Deputies informed the DPS Trooper investigating the accident that the driver of one of the vehicles seemed to be intoxicated.
