Wildcats Offensive Lineman Jessy Darrow signed a letter of intent to play college football at Navarro College in Corsicana. Darrow said he had a goal to play college football. Powerlifting Team Finished Third in Emory Meet
The Wildcats’ powerlifting team finished third in a meet at Emory Rains Saturday. Seven Wildcats received medals and lots of them had personal bests according to Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Jeremy Offutt. Taylor Ibarra was second in the 148-pound class and Colton Morrison finished second in the 198-pound class. Johnathan Alvarez was third in the 123-pound class and Isaiah Neal was third in the 198-pound class.

About 300 athletes, both boys and girls, competed in Saturday’s Sulphur Springs Powerlifting Meet. The Wildcats finished in 11th place. Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Jeremy Offutt expects to have 300 to 350 lifters at the annual Sulphur Springs Powerlifting Meet Saturday.
