Hopkins County 4H Archery Shooters Compete in Houston

Bella Vaculik In March, two Hopkins County 4H archery shooters traveled to the Houston Livestock Show to compete in an NASP meet. Taydon Horton and Bella Vaculik got a good measure of experience from the competition. Top honors at the 2020 Hopkins County Stew Contest went to super cooks LaWanna Hohenberger and Broc Hohenberger and Richard Brantley and Ashley Brantley. Wade Juarez captured the John Chester Campsite award. Despite COVID-19 restrictions on the gathering, cooks turned out for a fun time. Even the weather cooperated. Oct. 5 Hopkins County COVID-19 Update: 7 New Cases, 17 Recoveries

While the number of COVID-19 cases increased over the weekend, so did the number of recoveries, according to the Oct. Hopkins County COVID-19 update from Hopkins County/Sulphur Springs Emergency Management officials.
