Wildcats Baseball Falls to Hallsville on Senior Night

Senior Night did not go as planned for Wildcats baseball.  Hallsville cruised past Sulphur Springs 14-1 on Tuesday, Apr. 26.  Coach Jerrod Hammack’s squad fell behind early to the Bobcats and could not recover, coughing up eight runs through the first two innings. Four Wildcats Finish In Top-30 at State Powerlifting Meet

Wildcats powerlifting wrapped up their season last weekend in Abilene at the powerlifting state meet. One athlete finished 5th, with two more finishing in the top-20. The final two powerlifters from Sulphur Springs finished top-30 as well. Juan Hernandez of the 132 weight class placed the highest of any Sulphur Springs athlete. Wildcats Powerlifting Win Commerce Tiger Meet, Sweeping All Three Spring Contests

Men’s powerlifting won their third straight meet of the spring season in Commerce last Saturday.  The win gives Sulphur Springs the season sweep of all three of their competitions. 25 schools made the trip to Commerce HS, packed with over 200 powerlifters.  The Wildcats won the meet in a landslide, crushing the competition with 46 points.
