After loses to tough teams Denton Guyer and Mansfield Timberview, the Ennis Lions have won eight straight including all their district games. Lions Coach Jack Alvarez says the great district competition has given his team great confidence as they enter the playoffs against the Wildcats Friday. Coach Alvarez says the Lions’ offense has lots of weapons and is fun to watch. The Lions’ defense is led by a defensive end commited to Texas A&M.
