According to Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, residents in the Cumby and Miller Grove area are being warned to be on the watch for two African-American males fleeing local law enforcement following a wreck that occurred at 4:47 p.m. Monday at the 112-mile marker on I-30 near Cumby. Local police were going door to door to encourage residents to keep their doors locked and watch for pair who are sporting dreadlocks as a hair style.
Tracking dogs, an airplane, and other tracking assistance are being brought in for the search–a joint effort of the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and DPS.
