A memorial service for Danny Posey, age 80, of Tyler, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at League Street Church of Christ with Buddy Wiggins officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Posey passed away on July 27, 2022, at Christus Mother Frances – Tyler.
Danny was born on May 18, 1942 in Odessa, Texas, to Daniel Leon and Willie Florene (Dennis) Posey. He married Lillian Jane Williams on February 1, 1963, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Danny worked for Texas Highway Department in maintenance, until he retired in 1998. He was a member of the League St Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Michelle Ingram and husband, Jeffry; brother, Billy Posey; and sister, Pam Monds.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael Ray Posey and Eric Wayne Posey; and a sister, Shirley Goodson.
