Bascum Lee Chapman, age 79 of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2021, at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Bascum was born on October 11, 1942, in Tira, Texas, to Harley Raymond and Jonn Julia (Rogers) Chapman. He married Mary Claudene Perkins on August 18, 1963 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Bascum was retired.
He is survived by his sons, Lee Chapman Jr. and wife Diane, John Clinton Chapman and Joe Chapman and wife Yuko; grandchildren, Lee “Tres” Chapman III, William Chapman, Isadora Chapman, Pearl Chapman and Jaqlynn Chapman; great-grandchildren, Dani and Genesis Chapman; sisters, Scelena Sebastian and Jo Woodard; and brother, Claude Chapman.
Bascum was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; son, David Raymond Chapman; six brothers; and two sisters.
