Graveside service for Billy Watson, age 88, of Rockwall, TX will be held at 11:00A.M on Monday, May 3,2021 at Restlawn Memorial Park with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Mr. Watson passed away on April 21, 2021 in Rockwall, TX.
Billy was born on October 11, 1932 in Hopkins County, TX to Weldon and Maymie (Gafford) Watson. He married Sandra Springer on February 22, 1963 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Billy served in the United States Marine Corp for twenty-two years. His passions included playing golf, hunting and fishing. Billy was a man of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Kelly Christianson; grandchildren, Lane Christianson II and Layth Christianson; brother, Fred J. Watson.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jay Anthony (Tony) Watson and a brother Buster Watson.
