2 Jailed On Parole Warrants

Two people were jailed on parole warrants on Monday evening, according to arrest and jail reports.

South Broadway Street Arrest

Sulphur Springs Police Officer Cameron Robinson reported making an investigative stop on the Chevrolet Silverado pickup on South Broadway Street just south of Walmart, in reference to a theft reported at Walmart, according to arrest reports.

The driver was identified as 30-year-old Shana Leanne Earle of Yantis. A records check showed Earle to have an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody at 5:10 p.m. and jailed at 5:55 p.m. on a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division warrant. Earle was held in Hopkins County jail Tuesday, April 20, 2021, on the violation of parole charge, according to jail reports.

State Highway 11 West Arrest

After a deputy received information a wanted person could potentially be found at a State Highway 11 west location, Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chris Baumann and Sgt. Scott Davis traveled to the address and contacted Joseph Donald Maceachran around 6:45 p.m. April 19, 2021. A records check confirmed the 30-year-old Quinlan man was indeed the man wanted by Texas Pardon and Parole.

The deputies transported Maceachran to the county jail, where he was held Tuesday, April 20, on the violation of parole warrant, according to jail reports.
