The Lady Cats Soccer Team used a strong second half to defeat Texas High in a district game, 4-2 in Texarkana Thursday night (March 4). The Lady Cats trailed 2-1 at halftime but scored three unanswered goals in the second half to get the big win.
Haylee Shultz scored the Lady Cats’ first and last goal of the night. Rebekah Stanley scored the first two goals in the second half.
The win was the Lady Cats’ second of the week and improved their district record to 5-4. One of the wins was a shootout win. The Lady Cats’ season mark is now 10-8-4.
Next the Lady Cats get the Marshall Lady Mavericks at home on Saturday at 10 A.M. in a Varsity only game.
