Funeral services for Larry Gene Hatch, Sr., age 77 will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rusty Hudson officiation. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with David Hatch, Jason Beadle, Brian Beadle, Jeremy Hatch, Landon Womack, Heath Lord, Hunter Lord and Brian Ogles serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Guy Hatch. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020.
Larry was born on October 10, 1943 in Sulphur Springs the son of Guy Hatch and Jeanette Scott Hatch. He married Wanda Ogles on April 28, 1971 in Sulphur Springs. Larry was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight for 30 years. He taught Sunday School, loved gardening, building things, hunting, fishing and shooting Skeet. In addition to his wife Wanda he is survived by his daughters, Monica Hatch, and Tammy Hatch, brother Mike Hatch and wife Lyda, sister Carolyn Edwards and husband James, grandchildren, Amanda Hatch, Saad Alkashif, Garrett Hansen and Alaina Hatch, great-grandchildren, Kayden Alkashif and Mallie Hatch, with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Larry G. “Jay” Hatch, Jr., brother, Bobby Hatch, and sister Brenda Hatch Beadle.
