A funeral service for Ms. Eddie Pryor is set for Saturday December 19, 2020 at 12 noon at Morning Chapel Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. Eddie Faye Johnson was born December 15, 1949 to the late Jessie and Minnie Johnson in Sulphur Springs TX.
She graduated from Douglas High School in Sulphur Springs TX in 1967 and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Tommy C. Pryor July 14, 1967 and became a faithful member of New Birth Baptist Church under the leadership of George W. Pryor where she served with many auxiliaries until her death.
Eddie was employed with Sears & Roebuck for 28 years until the catalogue division closed, at ACS/XEROX for 18 years prior to her official retirement and for six years with Cox Automotive.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughter Tonia Pryor of Dallas TX; Son Demetrius Pryor of Sulphur Springs TX; 2 grandsons Jared Pryor and Jaron Pryor (Jazlyn) both of Dallas TX; 4 great-grandchildren Justina, Jaylee, Jaxon, and Moriah; sister Gay Johnson, brother Ronald Lewis both of Sulphur Springs TX; and her special niece Bridgette Cooper of Lancaster TX as well a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother Mark Wayne Johnson, and a sister Martha Jo Cooper.
