Alice Davis

Funeral service for Alice Davis, age 95, of Ennis, TX, will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 2:00PM at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Webster officiating and Rev. Gary Thompson assisting. Serving as pallbearers will be Darron Harred, Derrik Harred, Tony Abercrombie, Steve Ritchey, Travis Schilling, Cody Schilling, Dillon Harred and Will (Coach) Moss. A visitation is scheduled for 1:00 to 2:00 on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, one hour before the service. Mrs. Davis passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Bluebonnet Rehab in Ennis, TX.

She was born on February 2, 1925 to Bob Stone and Leona Crowley Stone in Shamrock, TX. She was married to Bill Davis who preceded her in death in January of 1989. Alice was housewife and a member of the Church of God in Sulphur Springs and attended the Ambassador Baptist Church while she lived in Ennis.

Survivors include: sons: Randy Davis and wife, Tamie of Ennis and Jimmy Davis and wife, Carolyn of Weatherford; daughter: Brenda Hallmark and husband, David of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren: Darron Harred, Derrik Harred, Travis Schilling, Christa Davis, Tony Davis, Cody Schilling, Kevin Barber, Jason Barber Allan Davis and David Hallmark, Jr.; great grandchildren: Dillon Harred, Madeline Harred, Brennan Harred, Harlie Joe Harred, Cody Austin, Candice Austin, Colt Schilling, Cayden Schilling, Eli Schilling, David Hallmark, III, Emma Kate Hallmark, Nora Jane Hallmark, James Cottrell, Colt Nichols, Allan Davis, Jr., Mercedes Nichols and Isabella Schilling; great, great grandchild: Blair Harred; sister: Vivian Gibson of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Leona Stone; husband: Bill Davis; grandsons: Dennis Davis, Barry Davis and Jeff Davis; granddaughter: Jessi Dickens.

         Arrangements are under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
