Mary Lou Nabors, age 91, of Campbell, formerly of Lake Tawakoni passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 in Greenville. Mary Lou was born on January 13, 1929 in Charleston, Texas to the parentage of Sanford and Madeline Elizabeth Boyd Hemby. She married Doyce Otto Nabors in Dallas on July 14, 1947. Lou was a housewife and a wonderful mother and also worked outside the home as a secretary for Safeway.
She was a wonderful Mother and the most important thing to her was to train her children up in the fear and admonition of the Lord and she did just that. She loved Jesus and tried to live a Christian life faithfully, every day of her life. She loved her children and her grandchildren. They enjoyed staying with MaMa for a week or more at a time and they treasured each others company. Another favorite in her life was cooking and sharing it with her family. Her creations were always delicious. She was a wonderful lady, loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Daughters: Vickie Haddock and husband, William, of Campbell and Lea Ann Lewis and husband, Jerry, of East Tawakoni
Grandchildren: Jennifer Bobo, Chris Lewis, Blake Lewis and Heather Kilgore
Great-grandchildren: Emily Bobo, Georgia Bobo, Gus Kilgore, Madeline Kilgore, Nathan Lewis and Noah Lewis
Numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: Parents; Husband in 2008; and Brother: Charles Hemby.
