A section of State Highway 154, on Gilmer Street near the railroad tracks, is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, for repairs. According to the Texas Department of Transportation Sulphur Springs Area Engineer, the work is a maintenance program by Kansas City Southern Railroad.
Motorists who travel on that stretch of SH 154/Gilmer Street at Martin Luther King Drive at the railroad tracks should plan for the road closure on April 1.
