November 6

  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80 near Mineola, at approximately 1:11 a.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle at Lake Winnsboro dam; at approximately 3:02 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Goode Street in Quitman; at approximately 4:34 a.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 182 near Alba, at approximately 7:51 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies provided a courtesy transport and cleared the incident.
  • At 9:36 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 9:58 a.m., in reference to terroristic threat on Highway 80 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 11:03 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • At 12:23 p.m., cows were reported out on County Road 4750 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 1:58 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1475 near Coke, at approximately 7:27 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 2966 near Quitman; at approximately 7:45 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to County Road 3811 near Hawkins; at approximately 9:51 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 14 near Hawkins; at approximately 10:05 p.m. Michael Curry, 38, of Hawkins was arrested for driving while intoxicated with an open alcoholic container.

November 7

  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on County Road 2311 near Mineola; at approximately 12:35 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 778 near Quitman, at approximately 2:50 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity. At 8:04 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.
  • At 8:05 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 312 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5295 near Yantis, at approximately 9:05 a.m., in reference to a possible violation of a protective order. Deputies spoke with all parties and determined no offense occurred.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Quitman, at approximately 11:54 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 515 near Yantis; at approximately 3:39 p.m. Nathan Potter, 25, of Yantis, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Yantis, at approximately 10:08 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2320 near Mineola, at approximately 11:18 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

November 8

  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2302 near Mineola, at approximately 2:09 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4150 near Quitman, at approximately 3:52 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4864 near Winnsboro, at approximately 4:56 a.m., in reference to an inquest. A male, 52, was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace arrived and no autopsy was ordered.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the camping area near Lake Winnsboro, at approximately 8:16 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 1:37 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Loop 564 near Mineola, at approximately 2:35 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies made contact with the homeowner and determined it was an accident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3875 near Mineola, at approximately 2:56 p.m., in reference to fraud. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3812 near Hawkins, at approximately 3:22 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the day.
  • At 3:59 p.m., horses were reported out on County Road 4965 Quitman.
  • At 4:22 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3225 near Quitman, at approximately 8:57 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Quitman, at approximately 10:27 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Loop 564 near Mineola; at approximately 10:33 p.m. Deputies located the individual and provided a courtesy transport.

November 9

  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80 near Mineola, at approximately 8:45 a.m., in reference to an assault that occurred. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5290 near Yantis, at approximately 12:15 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 515 near Alba, at approximately 12:39 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Broken Bow near Quitman, at approximately 4:35 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to CR 4430 near Winnsboro, at approximately 5:34 p.m., in reference to an assault. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 8692 near Winnsboro, at approximately 6:09 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 6:17 p.m., in reference to a possible assault. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1600 near Alba, at approximately 8:19 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. Joe’s Wrecker towed the vehicle and deputies cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Whitefoot near Quitman, at approximately 11:17 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

November 10

  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3550 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:27 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and everything was OK.
  • Deputies were dispatched to FM 49 near Mineola, at approximately 11:07 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
  • At 11:44 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 2460 near Mineola.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3290 near Quitman, at approximately 6:28 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2195 near Quitman, at approximately 7:05 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies made contact with the homeowner and determined it was an accident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3494 near Hawkins, at approximately 10:40 p.m., in reference to an assault. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

November 11

  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 6965 near Alba, at approximately 12:56 p.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole money from the reporting party. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 4:10 p.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle on FM 2088 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1900 near Yantis, at approximately 5:32 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80 near Hawkins, at approximately 6:16 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Francis Street in Mineola; at approximately 8:03 p.m. Roy Rogers, 36, of Mineola was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Newsome Street in Mineola; at approximately 8:51 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

November 12

  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1297 near Yantis, at approximately 1:42 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Center Street in Alba, at approximately 2:08 a.m., in reference to shots fired. This case is active.
  • Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1700 near Yantis, at approximately 3:04 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 37 near Winnsboro, at approximately 10:09 a.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on County Road 1540 near Alba; at approximately 1:04 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 8:49 p.m., in reference to a dispute on County Road 2280 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5290 near Yantis, at approximately 9:51 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.
  • Deputies were dispatched to Highway 154 near Yantis, at approximately 10:30 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and cleared the incident.
