Funeral service for Linda Kay Childers will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, 2:00 pm, at Clarks Church of God. Internment will follow in Lynch Cemetery. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
Linda Kay Childers, age 77, of Grand Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at TEXAS HEALTH Arlington Memorial.
Linda was born on August 18, 1942, in Point, Texas, to the parentage of Claude and Lota Rabe Cason. She married Billy Ray Childers in Edgewood, on November 23, 1957, and together they had three children. Linda was the owner of an interior design store and drapery workroom. Her survivors include: daughters, Tina Childers of Emory, and Deena Green (Bill) of Golden, Co; son, Brian Childers (Amber) of Arlington; sister, Margaret Ann Lair of Emory; brothers, Kenneth Cason (Anne) of Emory, Paul Cason (Betty) of Point, and Jerry Don Cason of Point; grandchildren, Casey, Tiffany, Corey, Carson, Ben, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Emmett and Novie; sister-in-law, Lena Cason, and Margaret Cason. Numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Brothers, Preston Cason, Bobby Lee Cason, and Joe Ben Cason; Sisters, baby, Maurine Cason and Christine Cason Hays; Sister-in-law, Thelma Cason; Brothers-in-law, Tommy Hays, Idus D.Lair, and Clyde Riley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
