Vehicle Burglaries Under Investigation

Sulphur Springs Police are investigating vehicle burglaries reported early Monday morning at two different addresses.

Debit, credit, store and gift cards; wallets; and identification were among the items reported stolen from the burglaries of sport utility vehicles on Jennifer Lane and a vehicle on Austin Acres Road.

At least one report of credit card abuse was reported to have stemmed from one of the burglaries.

Local residents are reminded not to leave valuables in vehicles when possible, secure any items that are left in vehicles out of sight, remove keys and lock vehicle doors when exiting the auto to better protect personal property.
