On April 27th, Sulphur Springs Rotary Club will be hosting its 6th Annual Claws For A Cause crawfish boil in the beautiful downtown area of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Rotary International is an international service organization that exists to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. We are a non-political and non-sectarian organization open to all people of all different walks of life. With over 1.2 million Rotarians in the world, Sulphur Springs’ Rotary Club values itself as a vital part of the community of Sulphur Springs and has taken the opportunity to host an annual crawfish boil to serve as its main fundraiser to invest back into the local community.
Claws For A Cause started six years ago as a fundraiser that would create awareness for Rotary and involve the whole community of Sulphur Springs. Claws annually funds the Sulphur Springs Rotary Club scholarship program, as well as benefiting several local charities in our area. Over the past years we have donated over $50,000 to help support organizations such as Hopkins County Emergency Response Team, Relay for Life, Heritage Counseling Center, Can Help, Star Foundation, Lake Country Casa, Sulphur Springs Animal Shelter, Relay for Life, and Community Health and Wellness Alliance to name a few.
Partnering with Sulphur Springs Dodge as our title sponsor, the Rotary Club of Sulphur Springs would like to invite each of you to join us for an amazing event on April 27th, 2019 at 5:00pm featuring live music by Hannah Kirby, and over three tons of crawfish and fixins for you to enjoy. Tickets are only $30 online, or $30 at the gate. Beverages will be available for purchase. Reserved tables and VIP sponsorship opportunities are available for those interested in giving back to our wonderful community at a fun, family-friendly event held on our historic square.
