Patricia “Pat” Annette Scribner

Patricia “Pat” Annette Scribner, 81, of Rockwall went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in Dallas. Grave site service’s celebrating Pat’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Pat was born in Bonham, Texas on March 5, 1938. She is the daughter of the late Dixon and Velma Wyles. She was raised and educated in Bonham where she graduated from Bonham High School. Following graduation she moved to Fort Worth to work. Pat met and married Kenneth Scribner on April 16, 1959 and they moved to Dallas. She worked at Union Bankers Insurance Company and she dearly loved her job as a Director of Contracting and Licensing, as well as the people she worked with. She retired at the age of 56 and they moved to West Tawakoni where she was an active member of the City Council and also served as Mayor ProTem.  Kenneth passed away on March 17, 2008 and Pat moved to Rockwall where she lived with her daughter Julie. She was also preceded in death by her son Keith Scribner, daughter Julia Williams, sisters Frances McCarthy and Mac McCarthy. Pat and Kenneth enjoyed road trips especially to Oklahoma and Branson, Missouri. She had many interests including gambling, reading, gardening, cooking including canning from what she grew in her garden. Pat loved all of her family member from kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is loved and will be missed by her daughter Joella Mullin of Mesquite; grandchildren Christy Weete, Nick & Sarah Yaws, Mandi Forester, Kenny & Kim Scribner, Chris Scribner, Travis Williams; great-grandchildren Trent, Austin, Hunter, Brie and Xander; brother-in-law Sonny Scribner & wife Martha of West Tawakoni; many cousins and friends.
