Laverne Robbins

Laverne Robbins, age 88, of Emory died, Friday afternoon, March I, 2009, in Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. She was born July 24, 1930, in Teague, to the parentage of Ruby and Lee Ella Johnson French. Laverne had several jobs during her lifetime. She married Coolidge Robbins in May of 1989 in Arlington. She was member of the Nazarene church while living in Arlington, but after moving to Emory, she attended Emory Baptist Church. Her survivors include:
daughter, Marsha E. Smith of Arlington; sons, Kenneth D. Donaldson and wife Donna and Millard Glen Donaldson and wife Mary, both families of Arlington; brother, Robert R. French and wife Barbara of Lorena; cousin, Gerald S. Byrd of Arlington; grandchildren, Wendy H. Addison, AaronG. Donaldson, Eric V. Smith, Christopher Donaldson, and Krystle Donaldson; great-grandchildren, Brendan M. McElroy, Aiden T. McElroy and Landry Donaldson; special friend, Bobby Scott. Mrs. Robbins parents and husband preceded her in death.
Funeral Service: 11:00 A. M. March 6, 2019 at Emory Baptist Church, burial in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation at 10:00 A. M. one hour prior to the service.
