January 23rd

At 7:52 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 1336 near Quitman.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Bermuda St. in Quitman; at approximately 10:43 a.m. Judith DeBorde, 59, of Lindale, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:40 p.m., in reference to terroristic threat that occurred on CR 2166 near Quitman. Deputies advised extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1540 near Alba, at approximately 2:00 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies spoke with the homeowner and determined it was an accident.

At 2:54 p.m., cows were reported out on HWY 37 near Quitman.

At 3:06 p.m., horses were reported out on HWY 37 near Quitman.

At 4:27 p.m., horses were reported out on HWY 37 near Quitman.

At 5:42 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 1476 near Como.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3144 near Winnsboro, at approximately 6:31 p.m., in reference to an animal complaint. The reporting party advised the deputies’ that the cows were attacked by dogs. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the dogs.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:33 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

January 24th

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 9:32 a.m., in reference to theft of service that occurred on CR 3226 near Quitman. A known actor did not pay for the work on a fence provided by the reporting party. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:41 p.m., in reference to a theft on HWY 80 near Hawkins. Deputies determined this incident to be a civil matter.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:18 p.m., in reference to fraud on CR 1563 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2281 near Mineola, at approximately 1:26 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 1:28 p.m., in reference to an animal complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the dogs.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 2:37 p.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on CR 2810 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:18 p.m., in reference to a fraud on CR 2211 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 4:03 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2330 Mineola, at approximately 6:12 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 1320 near Quitman; at approximately 6:24 p.m. Steven Ingram, 32, of Quitman, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1970 near Yantis, at approximately 6:42 p.m., in reference to stalking. Deputies were unable to make contact with the actor to issue a Criminal Trespass Warning.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1970 near Yantis; at approximately 7:23 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 1670 near Alba; at approximately 8:10 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to Golf Drive near Hawkins, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in reference to a possible theft. Deputies spoke with the reporting party and determined no theft had occurred.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 14 near Hawkins; at approximately 10:01 p.m. Charles Marty, 47, of Hawkins, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance and outstanding warrants.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 14 near Hawkins; at approximately 11:21 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

At 11:42 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2966 near Quitman.

January 25th

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 182 near Quitman, at approximately 4:47 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 8:26 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 1953 near Yantis.

At 10:13 a.m., horses were reported out on CR 4864 near Winnsboro.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:35 a.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on CR 3859 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 6325 near Mineola, at approximately 11:48 a.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Mineola, at approximately 12:03 p.m., in reference to a possible assault. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to find the complainants.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2810 near Mineola, at approximately 1:46 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2275 near Mineola, at approximately 2:26 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole the reporting party’s motorcycle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

At 6:09 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to Kiowa near Quitman, at approximately 6:24 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individuals.

At 7:26 p.m., horses were reported out on FM 852 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3540 near Hawkins, at approximately 11:16 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies located the noise and advised the individuals to lower the volume of the music.

January 26th

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 69 near Alba, at approximately 12:23 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:21 a.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on CR 2195 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1590 near Alba, at approximately 1:11 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Quitman, at approximately 1:45 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2700 near Mineola, at approximately 4:29 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2330 near Mineola, at approximately 8:34 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2966 near Quitman, at approximately 9:21 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 312 near Winnsboro, at approximately 10:42 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

January 27th

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:05 a.m., in reference to possible fire. Deputies arrived and determined the smoke was from burning brush.

Deputies were dispatched to Concho near Quitman, at approximately 2:03 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. The individual was located and transported to the hospital by EMS.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1612 near Alba; at approximately 4:10 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1681 near Alba, at approximately 7:48 a.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

At 2:48 p.m., horses were reported out on FM 69 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to Quitman St. in Alba, at approximately 7:03 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 8:50 p.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on CR 1917 near Yantis. A known actor took the reporting party’s vehicle without authorization. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2560 near Mineola, at approximately 10:00 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies located the noise and everything was OK.

January 28th

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 3:11 a.m., in reference to a possible burglary. Deputies checked the residence and determined no burglary had occurred.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:23 a.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on FM 1643 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to University St. in Mineola; at approximately 10:38 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Broad St. in Mineola; at approximately 11:00 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Evans St. in Mineola; at approximately 11:06 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 11:41 a.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on Village Circle near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:41 p.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on FM 852 near Winnsboro. A known actor did not pay for the pipe received from the reporting party.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1801 near Mineola, at approximately 7:09 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 7:14 p.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on FM 17 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2100 near Quitman, at approximately 7;44 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Katy St. in Alba; at approximately 10:37 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

January 29th

At 9:14 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 312 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 69 near Mineola, at approximately 10:01 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:58 a.m., in reference to a suspicious vehicle on CR 4815 near Winnsboro. Deputies advised the reporting party that extra patrol would be provided.

At 11:17 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 154 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2373 near Alba, at approximately 12:18 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 12:59 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:17 p.m., in reference to fraud on CR 2232 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 1:35 p.m., cows were reported out on HWY 37 near Quitman.

At 6:14 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 3230 near Quitman.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 2869 near Hawkins; at approximately 10:45 p.m. Gregory Rogers, 47, of Hawkins, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

Between the dates of January 23 and January 29, Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included the following: Memphis Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, Mineola Police Department, Hawkins Police Department and Quitman Police Department.

Total Jail Count –122 inmates – 95 males and 27 females.
