Mr. Michael “G-Dad” Zachary, age 66 of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on December 4th, 1952 in Dallas to the late Bobby Zachary and Patsy Reneau Zachary. He was a retired Detention Officer for Wood County and enjoyed being active in the Lake Country Playhouse while living in Quitman and Mineola.
Mike was member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro and was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Nelson Zachary of Winnsboro; daughter, Anna Ruth Zachary of Winnsboro; sister, Sharon Gilbreath of Winnsboro; one grandson, Ayden Zachary and several, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro with Rev. Debbie Lyons officiating. Interment will follow the services at Cypress Cemetery in Winnsboro.
