The auto in which Rachel Ruth Garza Anderson, 29, of Sulphur Spring was riding was observed leaving a red zone fire lane. A Hopkins County Deputy, who observed the illegal parking, made a stop on the vehicle. Anderson and the driver not only had stolen property from Walmart in their possession but Anderson was also wanted on warrants in Wood County.
The stolen property was released back to Walmart and Anderson was arrested on the felony warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more. The driver was released with a citation.
Anderson is in Hopkins County Jail held on a $30,000 bond.
