The Lady Cats’ volleyball team returns to the home court against Paris on this Tuesday (August 28) game day.
The Lady Cats have played a lot of volleyball since they hosted Forney at Wildcat Gym last Tuesday. Since then the Lady Cats won five of six games in the Tyler ISD Volleyball Tournament played Thursday and Saturday. The Lady Cats captured the championship of the Bronze Bracket defeating Tyler All Saints Episcopal School Saturday, 2-0. The Lady Cats also stayed busy last Friday night winning at Caddo Mills, 2-0.
The Lady Cats are 20-4 for the season and they are currently ranked #13 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association poll.
Tuesday, there will be a freshman contest at 4:30 p.m., a JV match at 5:30 p.m. and then the varsity game at 6:30 p.m. We will bring you the varsity Lady Cats match against Paris beginning at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. We will also videotape the match to replay later on Channel 18 on Suddenlink Cable.
