Ohio Man Arrested on I-30 for Cocaine, Heroin, Promethazine

In a traffic stop by a Hopkins County Deputy at the 136 mile marker on I-30, William L. Durr, 38, of Youngstown, Ohio (picture not available at time of publication) was arrested for possession of Heroin, Cocaine, and Promethazine.

A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle and a probable cause search revealed the marijuana and three other substances. The substances were in a backpack belonging to Durr. A records search showed Durr to have a criminal history for multiple felony offenses and possession of controlled substances.

Durr is in Hopkins County Jail charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 1-gram but less than 4-grams for the Heroin, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, less than 1-gram but more than 4-grams for the Cocaine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 4-gram but less than 200-grams for the Promethazine. He is held on bonds totaling $90,000.
