June 13th

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1610 near Alba; at approximately 12:13 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

At 12:19 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Yantis.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 515 near Yantis; at approximately 1:12 a.m. Deputies assisted the individual with changing a flat tire and cleared the incident.

At 6:14 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 1560 near Alba.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4930 near Winnsboro, at approximately 10:04 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:14 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass that occurred on Main St. in Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 8695 near Winnsboro, at approximately 12:59 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4536 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:45 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 2:07 p.m., in reference to unlawful restraint that occurred on CR 1670 near Alba. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:33 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver on CR 2432 near Mineola. Deputies advised the reporting party that extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4583 near Winnsboro, at approximately 6:01 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 778 near Quitman, at approximately 6:49 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Lake Holbrook beach; at approximately 10:48 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the area.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 6645 near Mineola, at approximately 11:26 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Klinton Kenner, 24, of Mineola, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct Discharged/Display Firearm.

June 14th

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:40 a.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s vehicle.

At 7:58 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 1600 near Alba.

At 11:48 a.m., horses were reported out on CR 3230 near Quitman.

At 1:50 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 1917 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to Holly Hill Circle near Hawkins, at approximately 1:52 p.m., in reference to an assault that occurred. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2906 near Mineola; at approximately 7:47 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 8:42 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4805 near Winnsboro.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2258 near Mineola; at approximately 10:06 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2950 near Mineola, at approximately 10:13 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 2225 near Yantis; at approximately 11:45 p.m. Natalie Robinson, 46, of Sulphur Springs, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with Open Alcoholic Container.

June 15th

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1515 near Alba, at approximately 3:50 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Nolan Carter, 36, of Ringgold, LA, was arrested for Silent/Abusive Call/Electronic Communication to 911 Service and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

At 11:12 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 4520 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2260 near Mineola, at approximately 3:23 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4494 near Winnsboro, at approximately 4:51 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3250 near Quitman, at approximately 5:50 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 5:52 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint on CR 3120 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Yantis, at approximately 8:01 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 9:09 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all individuals involved and cleared the incident.

At 9:09 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4878 near Winnsboro.

June 16th

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 1602 near Alba; at approximately 1:11 a.m. Deputies provided a courtesy transport and cleared the incident.

At 6:24 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Yantis.

At 8:07 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1880 near Yantis, at approximately 4:56 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2659 near Hawkins, at approximately 6:08 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with the reporting party and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:07 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1427 near Quitman, at approximately 7:13 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3144 near Quitman, at approximately 7:23 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

June 17th

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1943 near Yantis, at approximately 12:45 a.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Glazner St. in Hawkins; at approximately 12:59 a.m. Jalen West, 24, of Spring Harris, was arrested for Display Wrong, Fictitious, Altered or Obscured Motor Vehicle Registration.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:42 a.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on CR 2336 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 8:46 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 1970 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 10:21 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2153 near Quitman; at approximately 11:46 a.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 3877 near Hawkins; at approximately 6:18 p.m. Thomas Walls, 27, of Mineola, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 7:32 p.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on PR 6645 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1670 near Alba, at approximately 9:28 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 5551 near Alba, at approximately 9:28 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2225 near Quitman, at approximately 11:42 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 11:54 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole jewelry from the reporting party’s residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

June 18th

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 80 near Mineola; at approximately 12:29 a.m. Darion Land, 44, of Mineola, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2330 near Mineola, at approximately 5:48 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

At 7:49 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.

At 8:47 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2225 near Yantis.

At 10:39 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 4860 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1970 near Yantis, at approximately 12:32 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 17 near Alba, at approximately 1:22 p.m., in reference to criminal mischief. Actors, or actors unknown, damaged the reporting party’s business sign on the side of the road.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 2:10 p.m., in reference to theft that occurred on Main St. in Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2258 near Mineola, at approximately 3:54 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman, at approximately 4:31 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 5:02 p.m., horses were reported out on CR 1912 near Yantis.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4116 near Quitman, at approximately 7:44 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 80 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:47 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

June 19th

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2263 near Mineola; at approximately 2:44 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and transported the individual to the Emergency Room.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 5:49 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Parrish St. in Hawkins, at approximately 6:30 a.m., in reference to a stabbing. This case has been forwarded to other agency.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:50 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 10:14 a.m., cows were reported out on CR 3250 near Quitman.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:35 a.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on CR 2935 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 11:28 a.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on PR 6645 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 8257 near Quitman, at approximately 11:34 a.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:34 p.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on CR 4940 near Winnsboro. Actors, or actors unknown, used the reporting party’s credit/debit card without authorization. This case is active.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party at approximately 12:41 p.m., in reference to an assault that occurred on FM 515 near Quitman. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 80 near Hawkins, at approximately 1:55 p.m., in reference to theft. A known actor stole several items from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:15 p.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on CR 1970 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 4:13 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4520 near Winnsboro.

At 4:30 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 2100 near Quitman.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1660 near Alba; at approximately 5:57 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:57 p.m., in reference to terroristic threat. Caleb Brumfield, 28, of Tyler, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3980 near Winnsboro, at approximately 11:04 p.m., in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Between the dates of June 13 and June 19, Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included Police Departments and Emergency Medical Services.

Between the dates of June 13 and June 19, Wood County Sheriff’s Investigators filed 1 case with the District Attorney.

Total Jail Count – 127 inmates – 99 males and 28 females.
