Drucill Johnson

Graveside service for Drucill Johnson, age 96, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Black Oak Cemetery on Saturday June 9, 2018 with Buddy Wiggins officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.  Mrs. Johnson passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her residence.

Donna Drucill Johnson was born on November 28, 1921 in Hopkins County, Texas to Wylie and Richard Rose Jumper.  She married W.H. Johnson on March 7, 1942 in Como, Texas.  He preceded her in death in 1981.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Marc Johnson of Sulphur Springs, Michael Lynn Johnson of Dike, William Don Johnson of Sulphur Springs, Charles Edwin Johnson of Houston; grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Wizman, Miachel Hancock-Eccles, C.J. Johnson; great grandchildren, Jacob Wizman, Leah Wizman, Noah Wizman, McKalynne Wizman, Kessler Hancock.

Drucill was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Guy Jumper, Ned Jumper, Dub Jumper; sisters, Hazel Staples and Gussie Bayes.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
