The Lady Cats’ golf team finished fifth out of ten teams at a tournament at Hide-A-Way Lake in Lindale Monday. It was their third tournament of the season.
Golf Coach Whitney Spigener says the Lady Cats shot a total of 425. Freshman Mariam Tran shot an 84 that put her in a first place tie. Tran was awarded a second place medal after a scorecard playoff. Also for the Lady Cats, sophomore Addison White shot 110, sophomore Alyssa Underwood carded a 114 and senior Emma Lane had a 117.
The Lady Cats play next on March 9 at Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club. It will serve as a preview since the district tournament will be held there on April 5-6.
