Funeral services for Hazel Mildred Broyles, age 88 of McKinney, Texas, will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Eddie Northcutt officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Jim Aulbaugh, Jon Aulbaugh, Boo Rodriguez, Bart Jenkins, B.J. Barnes, Justin Haverland, Joey Aulbaugh, Cameron Rose and Jamey Aulbaugh serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her funeral service.
Hazel went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 14, 1929 in Girdner, Missouri, the daughter of Perry and Alta May Rennaker.
Hazel is survived by one daughter: Jan Aulbaugh and son-in-law Jim Aulbaugh: her grandchildren, Kym and Bart Jenkins, Cameron and Brooke Rose, Kelly Rose, Jamey and Marissa Aulbaugh, Joey and Bekah Aulbaugh, Jon and Trisha Aulbaugh and Jana and B.J. Barnes: her great grandchildren, Crysten, Boo, Cam, Blake, Perrin, Tess, Ryan, Caitlyn, Jon, Gracie, Callen, Cohen and Kessler: one great-great grandchild, Kynzie: her sisters, Virginia Prock and Glenda Corbitt and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters.
Hazel loved her family the most. In addition to her family, she loved to cook, garden, working on puzzles, sports, dancing, music and especially singing. She always had a song to sing for anyone that would listen.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch as well as; Kerri, Jessica and Toni, her hospice nurses. Thank you for taking such excellent care of our Mom and Mamaw.
