Mrs. Smith, age 90, passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 3, 2017 in Senior Suite Care and Rehab in Emory.
Mrs. Smith was born June 16, 1927, in Springfield, MO, to Bud Eugene and Allie Marie Noblitt Kline. She lived most of her life in Springfield, before moving to Tulsa, OK. Finally ending up in Dallas, Tawakoni, and then Emory. She married Howard Otto Smith in Tulsa on July 4, 1940. Mable was a homemaker…with that title comes many hats to wear … wife, Mother, cook, laundry woman, problem solver, helper, driver, housekeeper…never ending chores. She loved her family.

Mable was a member of Emory United Methodist Church. She loved to watch most sports on television. She was especially fond of watching most any team in the NFL. Sundays, Monday nights, and holidays… there would be some game on she would watch. She cherished her little dog, “LouLou” who stayed by her side both night and day.
For those who loved her, she will be greatly missed.
