Christine Ann Dennis Skelly

Christine Ann Dennis Skelly, age 68, of Saltillo, passed away in the late morning hours of Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Kindred Central Hospital in Dallas, with her beloved family by her side.  Christine was born on November 14, 1948 in Westbrook, Minnesota to Aubrey Morris and Ardys Naomi Nelsen Dennis, she survives.
On May 14, 1973, Christine married the love of her life and best friend, James Richard Skelly, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.  After 44 years of marriage, and a lifetime of memories, he survives.
Christine was an active genealogist.  She was excellent with genealogy and history and served as the historian for the Old Saltillo Cemetery Association Board of Directors.
Christine is also survived by one daughter, Mega Elizabeth Skelly, and husband Jeremy Hoefner, of Saltillo; one brother, Nelsen E. Dennis, and wife Kathleen, of Saltillo; by three nieces and two nephews; and by a host of other relatives and very special friends.
Christine was also preceded in death by one sister Rebecca Templeton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home..  She will be laid to rest at the Old Saltillo Cemetery.
