Graveside service for Alejandro Montes Gonzalez, age 68, of Pickton were held Monday, September 4, 2017 at Pine Forest Cemetery with Bro. Hugo Arellano officiating and Jorge Gonzalez, Jorge Alberto Gonzalez, Brigido Valles, Noel Garcia, Alan Screws, and Juan Magańa serving as pallbearers. Visitation was held Monday September 4, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral. Mr. Montes, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Carriage House Manor Farm in Sulphur Springs.
Alejandro was born to Gregorio and Maria Montes on February 11, 1949 in Mexico. He served in the Army of Mexico.
He is survived by his son, Jorge Gonzalez and wife Erika of Greenville; daughters, Sonia Valles and husband Brigido and Milagros Garcia and husband Noel; three grandsons and four granddaughters.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his parents and son Carlos Gonzalez.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
