Winnsboro Police Department Report July 31-August 6, 2017

Winnsboro Police arrested two, investigated one accident, responded to 163 calls for service, and issued 50 citations and 46 warnings during their report period July 31 through August 6, 2017.

Matthew Stanley, 22, of Winnsboro was arrested August 4, 2017 for DWI first with Open Container.

Vinince Jones, 32, of Winnsboro was arrested August 5, 2017 for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle.

WPD  responded to a one vehicle accident August 5th in the 600 block of East Carnegie. The vehicle was traveling west and left the roadway striking a stationary wooden utility pole. Injuries are unknown.
