LaVada Nell Beard

LaVada Nell Beard, age 74 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, August 7th, 2017 in Tyler. She was born on October 29th, 1942 in Scroggins to the late Luther Wood and Frances Reeves Wood. Nell married C.P. “Chock” Beard on August 21, 1964. She was Homemaker, and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

She is survived by, sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Cindy Beard of Winnsboro, Billy and Audrey Beard of Winnsboro, daughter Joy Huggins, of Quitman as well as grandchildren, Sharon Beard-Riley and her husband Shawn, Madison Beard, MeKall Beard, Tori Huggins and Hunter Huggins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister Mamie Evelyn Stone, a brother Ernest Paul Wood, and son-in-law, Tim “Bo” Huggins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10 from 10 am to 11 am at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Graveside Services following at Lee Cemetery Highway 37 S. Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:15 am, Bro. Terry Bolton officiating.
