A traffic stop on Loop 301 at Raintree Circle Sunday afternoon by Hopkins County Deputy Sgt. Kelly Wiser discovered a passenger in the auto was wanted on warrants out of Lamar County. A Paris man, Redarfius Andwone Cooper, 30, was wanted by the Paris Police Department for Felony Evading Arrest Detention with Previous Convictions and by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office for Manufacture, Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 less than 1-gram and for Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz.
Cooper is being held in Hopkins County jail without bond on the warrants.
