There are several other Wildcats and Lady Cats teams in action this game day Friday. The Wildcats and Lady Cats’ track teams are hosting the annual Sulphur Springs Meet at the SSHS Track Complex. Field events get underway at 4 p.m. with running events coming up at around 6:45 p.m. Joining the Wildcats and Lady Cats will be Denison, Sherman, Paris, Mt. Pleasant and North Forney.
Finally the Wildcats’ golf team is playing in the two-day Twisted 54 Tournament in Longview hosted by Pine Tree. Golfers will play 36 holes Friday and finish with 18 more Saturday.
The Wildcats and Lady Cats’ soccer teams have byes this game day Friday. They will be back in action next Tuesday evening against Mt. Pleasant. The Wildcats will be on the road while the Lady Cats will play at the SSHS Track Complex.
